I feel I always have the same issue. I find a cute top, t-shirt or sweater and low and behold it is either: 1) sheer and kinda see through or 2) the neckline is big and/or falls off my shoulder and… out pops my lovely bra strap! I hate to see bra straps, it’s a huge pet peeve of mine and makes any outfit not classy.
Whoever invented the bralette was a godsend (cue heavenly music)!
Basically they are extremely comfortable and resemble the look and feel of sports-bra. I personally like to wear them under t-shirts, especially light colored shirts, to hide those pesky bra cup lines. Sweaters are also great to layer a bralette with, especially with this seasons chunky sweater trend, most are made to fit large and slightly off the shoulder. You are probably thinking “why couldn’t I just wear a strapless bra?”, you definitely could, but I feel that little extra pop of layering gives your outfit a more complete look verses baring a completely bare shoulder.
I have tried several oh so popular bralettes from the all mighty Free People bralette, that people swear by, to Forever21, and I will have to say I have found a ultimate favorite!
The Vici Bralette. Their quality is just as good, if not better, than the Free People version and it is only $20 verses $40!

The leopard booties pictured are in my top two for favorites for low booties (first is my everyday go to Petty Booty in black and taupe). If you are looking for a realistic everyday statement shoe for fall and winter, well this is it!
These leopard low cut booties stood the test of time trekking around 30k steps a day in NYC last week. Zero issues, blisters, aches and all around comfortable and badass!
The pictured criss-cross oatmeal sweater is also from Vici. Its a great neutral sweater to add to your collection, but the criss-cross in the front makes it more unique than the average mundane sweater. You will definitely need to wear a bralette with this look.
