Happy Fall Ya’ll!
It FINALLY feels like fall in North Carolina and I am pretty sure I am one of few (if not the only) that is excited about the recent temperate drops (come on snow & ski season ;)).
Today I am super excited to share a few of my favorite fall shoes that I have currently been wearing on a daily basis this October. My favorites will take you from work, errands, dog walks to a night out on the town!
All of my recommendations can be found on Nordstorm’s website! They truly have some of the best fall finds and are one of my favorite places to shop in general. Not just because they carry a wide range of products, but their sales are always wonderful, and they have the best curbside delivery straight to your car!
Okay, let’s move onto shoes!
I decided to pull together a mix of flats and one great pair of everyday booties, as the weather gets colder I’ll do a post on all of my favorite ankle, knee high and over the knee boots for you all.
My top five were hard to select, and I don’t know about you, but I favor comfortable, versatile and unique yet timeless looks.
I am always on the run either with errands, heading in and out of the office or walking the dogs and I was on the hunt for a chic, go with everything, comfy, easy shoe…does that even exist?! — cue in these tan suede mules! They go with everything: crop dress pants, white jeans, dresses (a plaid shirt dress would be really cute with these) or your favorite distressed jeans. You can even begin wearing these in late summer as the color is that great of a neutral. Plus they come in several different colors, and will quickly turn into one of your favorite grab n’ go shoes in your closet! They run true to size and I highly recommend spraying them with a suede protectant, I really like Apple Brand.
We all need that one good black shoe that can easily take you from day to night out without being a heel. Let’s be honest ladies heels are not comfortable for all day wear unless you’re Wonder Women and have feet of made of steel, but we love them and look fabulous in them, but by the end of the day we’re all walking in pain hunched over and praying our feet aren’t bleeding!
So, in my search for this “perfect shoe” I kept eyeing up the Gucci Princeton mule, which is insanely expensive. After countless searching for an alternative I landed on these black mules that have a similar feel to the Gucci’s, which I found brand new on Poshmark! These are still not the cheapest, but black never goes out of the style and brings a classy feel to any look you are styling. Plus, the leather quality is superb and they are comfy. Pair with: a fitted ankle dress pant, jeans and a plaid blazer for work, dress down with black, white or distressed jeans and a long or chunky neutral colored sweater or keep it dressier with a blouse on top. They run true to size.
Another fall favorite is a essential for your closet – the black bootie! These also go with everything, but I like the fact that they are a lower heel (3 inches) and a block heel at that (meaning they are extremely sturdy and supportive), and ankle height. Unlike the black mules these looks awesome with dresses and skirts!
Last, but not least, the leopard print statement shoe, trendy yet still has classic lines. If you have been following me on Instagram you know I have been living in these leopard loafers. The key to rocking these is to let the shoe make the statement and not your outfit, keep your look simple and stay with basic pieces and solid colors.
I have linked all of my fall favorite details and few more below! Also, be sure to check my IG story for more style inspirations.
